During the cleaning itself, we remove any plaque and tartar that’s built up on your teeth. That’s when we’ll be scraping. The more tartar there is, there more scraping you’ll here, but it’s important to get that stuff off.
Once all the plaque and tartar has been removed, we’ll brush your teeth with a special, gritty toothpaste. We use a high-powered electric toothbrush that enables us to do an especially deep cleaning. That way we remove any remaining tartar left behind from the scraping.
